Laser or IPL? The difference, clearly.
Both methods target the pigment in the hair. They differ in the kind of light they use – and that affects who they suit.

How a laser works
A laser emits light of a single, precise wavelength. In the pigment of the hair this turns into heat and weakens the root. The Alma Soprano Titanium combines three wavelengths – 755, 810 and 1064 nm – in one pulse, so it reaches hairs of different thickness at different depths.
How IPL works
IPL (intense pulsed light) is not a laser. It emits a broad spectrum of light that is then filtered. It is used in salons and in home devices.
